CLEMSON, SC - The Clemson volleyball team was ranked #22 in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association poll of the 2007 season. With a 29-4 overall record, the Tigers posted their highest win total since the 1999 season, reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

The 2007 squad captured just the second Atlantic Coast Conference title in program history with a 21-1 league ledger. Clemson was ranked as high as #21 during the season and spent four weeks in the top 25.

The Tigers were also listed 22nd in the final RPI ratings of the year, released on Wednesday as well.

Clemson earned a bid to the national tournament for the first time since 1999 and defeated Alabama in the first match before falling to eighth-seeded UCLA in the second round.

Four Tigers were named Honorable Mention All-America, led by two-time honoree Danielle Hepburn, while Head Coach Jolene Jordan Hoover was selected as the ACC Coach-of-the-Year.
