CLEMSON, SC - The Clemson volleyball team earned the ACC's automatic bid to the 2007 NCAA Tournament and learned its draw on Sunday night. The Tigers will play host to first and second rounds at Jervey Gym on Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1, as announced by the NCAA Selection committee. UCLA and Alabama A&M will meet at 5:00 pm in the first match of the day while Clemson will take on Alabama at 7:00 pm.

Saturday's second-round match will be held at 7:00 pm, with the winner advancing to regional competition in Stanford, CA from Dec. 7-8. Tickets for each day are $10 for adults, $6 for students and senior citizens, and $4 for children ages 3-12. Children under the age of three are admitted free of charge.

The Tigers boast a 28-3 overall record and a 21-1 ACC ledger, while Alabama received an at-large bid from the Southeastern Conference after finishing with a 15-14 record.

Clemson is making its first appearance in the national tournament since 1999. The Tigers hold a 4-2 advantage in the series score with the Crimson Tide, but Alabama claimed the most recent meeting in 1995.

UCLA is the top seed in the Clemson bracket and earned the #8 national seed in the tournament. The Bruins boast a 20-10 record for the season. They will face Alabama A&M (15-9), the Southwestern Athletic Conference champion.
