CLEMSON, SC - The Tiger volleyball team will travel to Florida State and Miami this weekend for a pair of conference matches. Clemson (19-7, 11-4 ACC) will take on the Seminoles (17-8, 9-6) at 7:00 pm on Friday night from the Tully Gymnasium in Tallahasee, FL before matching up against the Hurricanes (21-5, 9-5) on Sunday afternoon in Coral Gables.

Livestats will be available for both matches by accessing www.clemsontigers.com.

Danielle Hepburn will be making her final trip this weekend to her hometown of Miami. The senior middle leads the Tigers offensively and defensively with team-bests of 356 kills and 136 total blocks. She leads the ACC as well with averages of 3.91 kills and 1.49 blocks per set, both of which rank among the best nationally as well. Clemson setter Kelsey Murphy also owns a league-best statistic for her 10.77 assists per set average. The junior from New Lenox, IL is just 162 career assists shy of fourth place in the Tiger annals, which would tie her aunt Jenny Yurkanin's mark of 3,690.

Scouting The Opposition
The Seminoles won a pair of conference matches last weekend to improve to 9-6 against ACC opponents and 17-8 overall. Florida State's balanced offense includes four hitters with at least 200 kills and is led by Lauren Richardson with 248 kills and Brianna Barry's .361 hitting percentage. Defensively, Jordana Price owns a team-best 93 total blocks and Ashlee Moon is averaging 5.01 digs per set.

Miami boasts a 10-1 record on its home court for the 2008 season, falling just to Wake Forest on Nov. 2. The Hurricanes enter the weekend with a 22-5 overall record and a 10-5 mark in ACC action. Genny Mayhew and Lane Carico have combined for nearly 600 kills to lead the Miami attack. Meanwhile, Cassie Loessberg has tallied 457 defensive saves and Angelica Ellis leads the squad with 78 total blocks.

Clemson Against The Seminoles, Hurricanes
With a 3-0 win over Florida State on Oct. 4, the Tigers narrowed the Seminoles' lead in the overall series score to 21-19. Along with the sweep earlier this season, Clemson won a pair of 3-0 matches in 2007. The Tigers improved to 8-2 all-time against Miami with a win at Jervey Gym on Oct. 3. Clemson has also swept the Hurricanes three straight times.
