Clemson volleyball standout Cindy Stern was chosen to play on the USA National team following her three day tryout in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Stern will return to Colorado Springs for the remainder of May and June to train with the team.
Out of the 70 plus athletes invited to tryout, Stern was one of only 17 selected. Stern was also the lone player selected from the Atlantic Coast Conference.
"I am excited to have the opportunity to compete at this level. I hope to gain valuable experience that I can bring back to benefit not only myself, but also Clemson volleyball."
Stern, a 6-3 middle hitter will return next season to compete in her junior season.
