CLEMSON, SC - Clemson head volleyball coach Jolene Jordan Hoover announced that Summerville, SC, standout Liz Beckham will continue her career as a Tiger.

"We are very pleased to announce the addition of Liz Beckham to our volleyball program," said Hoover. "Liz is one of the best players in the state, a tremendous athlete and comes from a state championship program."

The 5-10 outside hitter/defensive specialist is a tri-sport athlete (volleyball, basketball and track) at Summerville High School. She is a three-time CAWS all-state selection, and was named the Post & Courier Volleyball Player of the Year in 2000 and 2001. Beckham helped lead her high school team to five-consecutive region championships and a state championship in 2002.
