Heavey Helps Tigers Win

CLEMSON, S.C. - The Clemson Tiger volleyball team defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 15-2, 15-9, 7-15, and 15-10. This improves the Tigers record to 14-0, 3-0 in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets drop to 8-10, 1-2 in the ACC after tonight's loss.

Leading the Tigers was senior Jill Heavey who tallied eight kills, 11 digs, and a .368 hitting percentage.

Also having a strong night for Clemson was Cindy Stern who knocked down ten kills, 11 digs, seven blocks, and a .333 hitting percentage.

The Tiger's next match will be Friday, October 3rd at 7:00 when Clemson faces Florida State in Tallahassee.
