Stern Strikes Hard In Tigers Win

CLEMSON, SC. - The Clemson Tiger volleyball team remains undefeated after beating the SMU Mustangs in Jervey Gym. The game scores were 15-8, 15-4, and 15-3. Clemson's record is now 9-0, while the Mustangs drop to 8-5.

Leading the Tigers in tonight's action was sophomore Cindy Stern who smashed 13 kills, no errors, seven blocks and a .619 hitting percentage.

Also having a great night for the Tigers, was senior Michelle Thieke who tallied 33 assists, nine digs, and a .429 hitting percentage.

The Tigers next match will be Saturday, September 20th at 12:00 pm in Jervey Gym, when they host the Dolphins of Jacksonville.
