Thieke Leads Tigers in Three

CLEMSON, S.C. - The Clemson Tiger volleyball team defeated N.C. State in three games by scores 15-1, 15-8, and 15-10. This victory improves the Tigers record to 18-3, 6-3 in the ACC, while the Wolfpack drop to 7-17, 1-8 in the ACC.

Leading the Tigers was senior setter Michelle Thieke who tallied 32 assists, 11 digs, five block assists, and a .273 hitting percentage.

Sophomore Cindy Stern also had an impressive night slamming 12 kills, ten digs, six blocks, and a .308 hitting percentage.

The Tigers next match will be Saturday, October 25th at 6:00 pm when they will match up against the Tarheels of North Carolina in Clemson's Jervey Gym.
