Raleigh, N.C.--The N.C. State volleyball team got its first ACC win of the season Saturday night as it defeated Clemson, 3-2, in Reynolds Coliseum. The loss for Clemson was the first in the ACC this season.
NC State won the first game 15-11 and Clemson took the second, 15-6. The Pack came back to earn a quick 15-2 victory in game three, but the Tigers answered with a 15-1 win in game four. NC State took the fifth and deciding game 15-10. Clemson falls to 15-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play. NC State is now 6-15 overall and 1-6 in the ACC, while .
The Tigers play host to Virginia on Friday, October 17 at 7:00 p.m. in Jervey Gym.
