Clemson Volleyball Defeats North Carolina

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The Clemson Tiger volleyball team defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels by scores of 15-1, 7-15, 13-15, 18-16, and 16-14. The Tigers were down 2-1 and came back to win to improve their record to 16-1 overall, 4-1 in the ACC.

Alison Coday and Cindy Stern led the Tigers with 22 kills apiece. Michelle Thieke had 64 set assists and Skye Frost tallied 22 digs. As a team, the Tigers had 13 team blocks and 75 team digs.

With the win, the Tigers are tied with North Carolina and Florida State with one conference loss each. The Tigers play N.C. State in Raleigh at 6:00 pm on Saturday evening.
