Opening Comments
"I'm very proud of this team for making it this far. They are a special group of players. We lost a conference match on the road a couple of months ago and since then we have won a bunch of volleyball matches. What this team has done all year is respond. We went out tonight with great energy and great determination."
Comments about Lori Baird and Emillie Toone
"Baird and Toone have not been stopped all season. And I didn't think they would be stopped tonight either. When we are able to get the ball into the middle with Baird and Toone we can be a great team. And we were able to do that tonight."
"I feel that our coaching staff did a good job of putting together a game plan. Our girls game out and executed it. They dug a lot of balls and were very aggressive defensively.
#15 Emillie Toone comment on Kathryn Haynie
"Haynie has been a leader all year. She knew it was going to be a tuff match and she stepped it up. Haynie took some pressure off us in the middle which was a great help."

Hoover on Game
"We are obviously disappointed. It was a tough loss to a big Utah team who was very tough and aggressive. They did a great job of keeping us out of our system tonight."
On lead in 2nd game
"I feel like it kept coming down to passing. That stretch was critical to our game, especially playing a team like this it is really tough to go down 0-2."
On way they played defense
"We were trying to look at the positives when we went into the half down 0-2, and we were talking about how well the team blocked and that we actually had more blocks than they did."

"I am really proud of the team. They played great and we are just disappointed because we really wanted to go to the sweet 16, but I am glad that if we had to lose it was to a team like Utah."
