DURHAM, N.C. - The Clemson volleyball team dropped a four-game match to the Duke Blue Devils Friday night at Cameron Indoor Arena. The Tigers lost the first two games 30-20, but claimed game three, 30-27. Clemson could not hold off Duke in the fourth game, as the Blue Devils won the final game, 30-24. Two Tiger freshmen, Leslie Finn and Breezy Ambort, recorded career-best performances in Friday night's match.

Ryane Beasley led the Tigers with 14 kills, while Jodi Steffes added 12 kills with a match-high 19 digs and two service aces. Lori Ashton tallied 11 kills with four blocks (one solo), and Marija Zoric added four blocks as well. Leslie Finn tallied the first double-double of her career with 10 kills and 11 digs with two block assists. Breezy Ambort led the Tigers in assists with a career-best 26, and Jessi Betcher added a double-double with 25 assists and 11 digs.

Ashley Harris led all hitters with 18 kills and a .350 hitting percentage. Dorrette Burrwell added 11 kills, and Jill Sonne recorded 13 digs with six blocks (one solo). Arielle Linderman handed out 41 assists, and Sonne and Cassidy Crum served up two service aces each.

The Tigers (6-11, 2-7 ACC) will play Wake Forest Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. in Winston-Salem, NC.
