ATLANTA - The Clemson volleyball team, ranked 13th nationally, defeated Georgia Tech 3-1 Friday night in Atlanta, GA, to win its 14th-straight match.

The Yellow Jackets won game one 15-13, before the Tigers rallied to win game two 15-6 and game three 15-3. The two teams battled through a close fourth game before the Tigers took a 19-17 victory.

Senior Alison Coday led Clemson with 19 kills, while senior Cindy Stern added 16 kills for the team. Stern had one block solo and six block assists for the Tigers. Senior Emily Gorla had a career-high 14 kills and recorded 15 digs in the match.

Freshman Jessi Betcher led the team with 59 assists and tallied 15 digs for the Tigers. Junior Heidi Cooper had 12 digs, and senior Skye Frost recorded seven digs.

Clemson (14-0, 3-0 ACC) will play host to N.C. State Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Jervey Gym. Georgia Tech drops to 12-4, 2-1 ACC with the loss.
