• Played in 30 and started 20 matches in 2008
• Won the right-side position for the Sept. 27 match at Virginia; had previously seen action primarily for her powerful and consistent serving abilities
• Totaled 62 kills for the season and had 34 total blocks
• Prior to the Virginia match, had one ace and seven total defensive saves in 22 sets played
• For the year, recorded 22 service aces for a team-best 0.23 ace per set average
• Posted six kills in 13 attempts without an error (.462) in her first match as a starter; also had 16 defensive saves for season-highs in kills, digs and hitting percentage; had three block assists, three aces and eight assists against the Cavaliers as well
• Followed with three kills and eight defensive saves in a three-set win over Miami
• Had a successful day serving against Florida State on Oct. 4 with three aces
• Recorded three kills in six attempts with eight digs against Duke on Oct. 11

• Tallied double-digit defensive saves in back-to-back matches at Duke and Wake Forest with 13 against the Blue Devils and 10 against the Demon Deacons
• Hit at a .333 clip with five kills in 12 attempts at Miami on Nov. 16; also recorded 13 digs with two total blocks
• Followed with her best day at the net with five block assists in the win over Maryland on Nov. 21; also had 10 defensive saves in the match
• Served 32 of Clemson's 73 serves against Boston College on Nov. 22 with three aces and just one error; closed out the match by serving the final 10 points of the third set
• Had a solid performance in a five-set thrilling victory over Georgia Tech in the final regular season match of the season with 12 digs and four block assists
• Tied her season high with six kills against Tennessee in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament to go along with 12 digs
• Had five kills, three digs and three block assists in the final match of the season against Utah in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
2007
• Was injured for much of the season and did not play in 2007.
Before Clemson
• Joins current sophomore Didem Ege as another extremely talented player from Istanbul, Turkey
• Brings an incredible amount of winning experience to the Clemson program
• Played on the same club team as Ege, the Eczacibasi Sports Club
• Team won the Istanbul Championship title six times
• Also led the club to the Turkish Championships in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007
• Attended school at Yuzyil Isil Lisesi
• High school team captured two Istanbul regional titles, in 2005-06 and 2006-07
• Squad was also the 2005-06 and 2006-07 Turkish Champions
• Led team to third-place finish at the Turkish Championships in 2004-05
