Clemson, SC - Selected members of the Clemson women's track & field team will compete in a special Tiger Multi-Event Open at the school's Rock Norman Outdoor Complex. A heptathlon will be held spanning Monday and Tuesday at the school's outdoor track.

Liane Weber has posted an NCAA provisional qualifying point total in the heptathlon with a school record 5,337 points. She was runner-up at the ACC Championships in the seven-event competition. Weber currently ranks 18th nationally in the heptathlon.

Linda Buchholz will compete in the heptathlon for the first time this outdoor season. She ranks second in school history in the indoor pentathlon. Buchholz is a regional qualifier and school record-holder in the javelin throw. She also holds top-notch marks in the high jump and long jump.

Polly Hardy and Krystal Barringer, both regional qualifiers in the high hurdles, will compete in that event this week at the Tiger Multi-Event Open. The duo ranks third and fourth in school history in the 100m hurdles.
