Clemson, SC - The women's track & field team will compete at the Clemson Invitational on Saturday. The meet will be scored and will feature Appalachian State, Georgia, and Western Carolina. Events will get underway Saturday morning at 10:00 AM, beginning with the javelin throw.

The Lady Tigers have five regional qualifiers so far this outdoor season, including two in the high hurdles. Polly Hardy has a season-best effort of 13.57, while Barringer hit a time of 13.89 last weekend at the Yellow Jacket Invitational. The 100m hurdles will take place Saturday at 1:35 PM.

Patricia Mamona has qualified in the triple jump regionally. She ranks fifth in school history in the event as well. The triple jump is set for 3:00 PM. Nakeisha Wineglass owns a mark just shy of the regional-qualifying standard, so the freshman from Upper Marlboro, MD looks to improve on her personal best this weekend in the triple jump.

Rochelle Kokayko has qualified in the hammer throw and owns a personal best of 184'6". She will be joined in that event by senior Della Clark, who is looking to qualify regionally as well. Clark ranks second in school history in the event, while Kokayko is listed third in Clemson's records.

Linda Buchholz is the team's fifth regional qualifier this season. Last weekend, she set the school record in the javelin throw with a mark of 152'5". She will be joined by Kokayko and Bethanie Wachna in that event Saturday morning. Wachna is fourth in school history in the event.

Clemson will enter two relay teams in the 4x400m and one in the 4x100m. Ra'Sheena Parker and Kristine Scott will run the 100m and 200m Saturday as well. Liane Weber, an indoor NCAA participant, will compete in the javelin, long jump, and high hurdles this weekend.
