CHAPEL HILL, NC - Clemson women's track and field senior Lauren Nicholson completed competition at the 2004 USA Combined Events Championship held Sunday at the Eddie Smith Fieldhouse on the campus of the University of North Carolina. The senior from Marietta, GA, tallied 3,539 points in the pentathlon to finish sixth in the field.

In the 60m hurdles, Nicholson finished second of seven competitors with a time of 8.53. She cleared 5'3.75" in the high jump and recorded a mark of 35'10" in the shot put. Nicholson posted a mark of 17'8.25" in the long jump and finished the 800m run in 2:45.46.
