Senior Gisele Oliveira brought home a second-place finish in the triple jump at the 2005 Penn Relays.

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Clemson women's track and field team completed competition at the 111th annual Penn Relays held this weekend. Gisele Oliveira led the Lady Tigers with her runner-up finish in the triple jump championships. The senior from Porto Alegre, Brazil, recorded a mark of 43'5.25" to place second.

Silja Ulfarsdottir competed in the championship of the 400m hurdles, in which she placed fourth. The senior from Reyjkavic, Iceland, recorded a time of 58.03 in the intermediate hurdles race.

Clemson's 4x200m relay team of Randi Hinton, Ulfarsdottir, Sierra Hill and Tia Perry qualified for the championship finals of the event with their time of1:38.74. The foursome shaved more time off effort in the finals, crossing the finish line in a season-best 1:37.39 to place seventh overall.

The Lady Tigers return to action next Saturday, as they host the Orange and Purple Classic at Rock Norman Track and Field Complex.
