CLEMSON, S.C. - The Clemson women's track and field team completed competition at the Clemson Relays with three event titles. The Lady Tigers' 4x200m relay team, 4x400m relay team and Krystal Woods each earned victories at Saturday's meet.

The Lady Tigers' 4x200m relay team clocked a 1:36.80 to claim the event, while the "B" team finished fourth in 1:42.01. In the 4x400m relay, Clemson "A" won the event in 3:49.67, and the "B" team placed fourth in 4:09.71. The Lady Tigers' 4x800m relay team was second with a time of 9:39.23, and the distance medley relay team crossed the finish line in 13:06.70 to place third. Danielle Whaley was the runner-up in the 100m with her time of 12.51, and JaToya Moore placed sixth in 12.82. Keshia Haughton took third place in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.38, Lauren Nicholson was fifth (14.44) and Marquita Dortch finished seventh (15.30).

In the field events, Krystal Woods led the Lady Tigers with her win in the discus throw (135'4"). Mary Gosselin placed second in the event with a mark of 126'4". Woods was the runner-up in the javelin with a throw of 127'3". Elizabeth Lord took third place in the javelin (122'1"), and Katie Pickett placed seventh (107'10"). In the hammer throw, Gosselin claimed third with her mark of 158'7", and Allison Bradshaw was seventh (136'5"). Bradshaw also placed fifth in the shot put with a mark of 39'6.75". Katie Pickett cleared 5'5" in the high jump to finish in a tie for second, and Lauren Nicholson was fifth with a clearance of 5'3". In the long jump, Nicholson recorded a mark of 17'4.25". Joana Costa was the runner-up in the pole vault with a clearance of 11'5.75".

 

 

The Clemson women's track and field team will next compete at the Raleigh Relays on Mar. 28-29.
