CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Clemson women's track and field team competed at the UNC Indoor Madness Meet on Wednesday. Gisele Oliveira led the Lady Tigers with a first-place finish in the triple jump. The sophomore from Porto Alegre, Brazil claimed the event with a NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 41'6.5". Oliveira is Clemson's all-time leader in the triple jump with a mark of 43'0.25". Senior Joana Costa also competed on Wednesday, placing eighth in the pole vault with a clearance of 11'11.75". The 2003 NCAA Indoor Championships will be held Mar. 14-15 in Fayetteville, AR.
