CAMPBELL HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS • Coached by Steve Baird • Named the Gatorade Track & Field Athlete-of-the-Year for the state of Kentucky in 1996 • 1995 TAC Junior National Champion in the 400m dash • Three-time state champion in the 400m, the 200m, and the mile relay for the state of Kentucky • State champion in the long jump and the 100m dash as well • As a prep, ran a personal best 54.10 in the 400m dash at the East Coast Invitational in Fairfax, VA • Holds the Kentucky state record for the 400m dash with a time of 55.46 • Holds Ft.
