CLEMSON, SC - Clemson women's tennis players Ani Mijacika and Federica van Adrichem are set to compete in the qualifying round of doubles play at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships. The Tigers duo will take on UCLA's team Remynse and Pantic, who advanced through the prequalifying bracket, on Tuesday at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, CA.

Mijacika and Van Adrichem, ranked 17th in the preseason Fila/ITA Tennis doubles poll are coming off a second-place finish at the 2008 Furman Fall Classic. The duo posted a 7-3 record during the 2007 fall season but did not pair together during the spring.

Mijacika also earned an invitation to the main draw of the singles tournament, which will begin play on Thursday, Oct. 2. The Tiger junior, ranked second nationally, has posted an unblemished 6-0 record through the first two events of the year in claiming flight title at both the MCC Collegiate Championships and the Furman Fall Classic. As the one of the top seeds in the All-American, she will likely face a qualifier in the first round. Therefore, her opponent will be determined on Wednesday.
