Sophomore Julie Coin earned ACC Player of the Week honors for the fourth time this season.

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Clemson women's tennis player Julie Coin was named the ACC Women's Tennis Player of the Week. The sophomore from Amiens, France, earned the honor for the fourth time this season after winning her ninth consecutive singles match.

Clemson's top-seeded Coin, ranked 21st by the ITA in singles, defeated 64th-ranked Henrietta Williams of Virginia by a score of 6-3, 6-3 to help lead the Lady Tigers to an upset of the #21 Cavaliers. She also claimed a 6-2, 6-3 decision over Maryland's Ramona But this weekend. With Laurence Jayet, Coin is currently ranked 31st in doubles by the ITA, and the duo defeated the #38 Cavaliers' Tuchband and Williams, 8-5, flight one doubles on Sunday. Coin boasts a 15-2 record in dual singles play and is 4-0 in ACC action. In dual doubles matches, she is 13-3 overall and 3-0 in league play.

The Tiger women's tennis team returns to action on Thursday, Apr. 3 as the Tigers play host to Georgia Tech in a 2:30 PM match at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center.
