CLEMSON, SC - The Clemson women's tennis team earned its 17th straight top-25 ranking on Tuesday, as the Tigers were listed eighth in the Fila/ITA Tennis poll. They boast a 13-3 overall record with a 4-1 mark in ACC matches this season, defeating then-ranked #15 Florida State, 5-2, before suffering a tough, 4-3, loss to #9 Miami last weekend.

Having spent the last three weeks at #7, Clemson has now been ranked in the top 10 in four consecutive polls. The streak matches the Tigers' run from the 2004 season when they entered the top 10 at #9 on Apr. 13 and remained a top-10 team for the final four polls of the season.

Clemson is one of seven ACC schools listed among the top 20 teams in the nation. Georgia Tech headlined the group at #7, followed by the Tigers at #8 and Miami at #9. North Carolina was ranked 13th with Wake Forest and Florida State listed 17th and 18th, respectively. Duke then earned the #20 listing.

The Tigers will face another tough weekend as they will play host to the Blue Devils on Saturday and the Tar Heels on Sunday.
