CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Clemson women's tennis player Ani Mijacika won a pair of matches on Friday to advance to the semifinals at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships. She will resume play on Saturday morning at the Boar's Head Sports Club in Charlottesville, VA

Mijacika downed Furman's Laura Gioia in straight sets in her first match of the day (6-3, 6-1). She then posted a 6-2, 6-4 win over Marina Cossou of California in the round of eight. The Tiger junior will take on Northwestern's Maria Mosolova in her semifinal match-up.

Meanwhile, Josipa Bek's fall season ended on Friday afternoon as she suffered a 6-3, 6-1 defeat to Maria Sanchez of Southern California in the round of 16. The rookie finished with an 11-3 record in her first fall at Clemson.
