CLEMSON, SC - The Clemson women's soccer team will play host to defending national champion and third-ranked Southern Cal on Sunday at Riggs Field. The game between the Tigers and Trojans is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. This will be the first meeting between Clemson and the Women of Troy.

Clemson is 4-1 on the season, defeating Francis Marion 3-0 and falling to South Carolina 1-0 in the Carolina's Cup last weekend in Columbia. Senior Julie Bolt leads the Tigers in scoring with five goals for 10 points. Sophomore Judea Davis has three goals for six points and a trio of Tigers, Tara Cort, Lindsey Jackson and Molly Franklin, have five points apiece on the season. Sophomore keeper Paula Pritzen has started all five games for Clemson and has recorded eight saves and given up just one goal.

Southern Cal is 4-1 entering the weekend, and will face Georgia on Friday night in Athens before traveling to Clemson on Sunday. The Trojans, ranked third nationally by the NSCAA, most recently defeated #12 Santa Clara (2-1) and Alabama (7-1) in Los Angeles. Nini Loucks (three goals) and Marihelen Tomer (two goals, two assists) lead USC with six points each.
