Clemson Women's Soccer Ranked No. 6 In NSCAA Preseason Coaches Poll

Clemson, S.C. - The Clemson women's soccer team, which returns 15 players from 1999, is ranked No. 6 in the NSCAA Preseason Coaches Poll.

The Lady Tigers will have 15 players return from a team that was one game away from advancing to the NCAA Final Four a year ago. Clemson will be led in 2000 by senior All-ACC defenders and twins Nancy and Julie Augustyniak and All-South Goalkeeper, Katie Carson.

Coach Ray Leone assumes sole head coaching duties in 2000 while Tracey Leone and Co-Head Coach, takes a leave of absence from Clemson to take on the duties of Head Coach of the Under 16 National Team and assisting the U.S. Olympic Team in Sydney, Australia.
