CLEMSON, S.C. -- Emily Feeney scored her sixth goal of the season in leading 12th-ranked Duke to a 3-0 win over eighth-ranked Clemson.
Duke scored midway in the first half, (22:38). Kassey Trumans pass freed Sherrill Kester on the left side creating a breakaway. Kester looped a shot over Clemsons goalkeeper Meredith McCullen and into the left corner of the net.
The Blue Devils Kristy Whelchel scored from 12 yards out after receiving a crossing pass by Andi Melde from the left at the 41:49 point.
Dukes Emily Feeney scored on a late breakaway after receiving a pass from Kim Cahill from the middle at the 87:41 mark.
