CLEMSON, S.C. -- Sara Burkett scored the winning goal with 12 minutes remaining in lifting 14th-ranked Clemson to a 2-1 win over Florida State in a women's Atlantic Coast Conference soccer match at Riggs Field Friday night.
Clemson improves its record to 7-2 overall, 2-1 in the ACC. Florida State falls to 3-5 overall and 0-5 in league play.

Florida State kept a 1-0 lead in the first 75 minutes of the match. The Seminoles' goal was ruled an own goal as a Clemson defender failed to clear a ball and knocked it into the Lady Tiger goal at the 25:33 mark.
