Maryland Defeats Clemson 2-0

COLLEGE PARK, MD--Keri Sarver scored one goal and assisted on the other in leading Maryland to a 2-0 win over Clemson in an Atlantic Coast Conference women's soccer match at College Park, MD Sunday afternoon.

Maryland improves to 7-4-2 overall and 3-1 in the ACC. Clemson falls to 9-3-0 this season, 2-2-0 in league play. Clemson is ranked ninth by Soccer America and 12th by the NSCAA poll. While Maryland is ranked 19th by both the Soccer America and NSCAA polls.

The Terrapins' Emmy Harbo scored her sixth goal of the season at the 57:15 mark. She was assisted by Keri Sarver and Laura Varela.

Sarver addedthe insurance goal at the 87:03 mark with an unassisted goal.

Clemson will play at Wake Forest Wednesday afternoon.
