CLEMSON, SC--Elizabeth Jobe scored a goal with 4:48 left in regulation in leading Clemson to a 2-1 upset win over eighth-ranked Wake Forest in an Atlantic Coast Conference women's soccer match at Clemson, SC Sunday afternoon.

With the win, Clemson improves to 8-6-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the ACC. Wake Forest falls to 12-3 this season and 4-2 in league play.

Wake Forest scored with :36 second gone in the match as Alllie Sadow scored her sixth goal of the season with an assist by Elizabeth Remy.

The Demon Deacons held their lead until the 77th minute as Meghan Smith scored her fourth goal of the season with assists by Fraser Gerth and Katie Vogel.

With only 4:48 left to go in regulation, Jobe scored on a 28-yard shot from the left side that gave the Lady Tigers the victory.

"This is a huge win for our team," said Jobe. I saw a gap and I shot a hard as I could. This was great that our team came back from a 1-0 deficit and was able to be a top-10 team."

"We are ecstatic about the result, but our performance really wasn't any different than our past few games," said Clemson Head Coach Todd Bramble. "It was a hard fought game and we responded well and played with a lot of character. I am happy for Elizabeth Jobe. This is one of her best games of the year. She is playing well for us."

Today's victory marked the 15th win over a top-25 team and fifth over a top 10 team under Clemson's Head Coach Todd Bramble.

Clemson will play at Duke on Thursday, October 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lady Tigers' next action.
