CLEMSON, SC--Nuria Zufia scored one goal and had one assist and teammate Lia Schendel had two assists in leading Clemson to a 4-0 win over Francis Marion in a women's intercollegiate soccer match at Clemson, SC Sunday afternoon.

With the win, Clemson is now 6-5 on the year, and Francis Marion falls to 5-4-3 this season.

Clemson scored all four goals in the first half. Zufia scored in the 10th minute with assists by Schendel and Julie Bolt. This was Zufia's fourth goal of the year and Bolt's sixth assist of the year.

Kelly Schneider scored her first goal of the season with assists by Meghan Smith and Katie Vogel at the 15:22 mark giving the Lady Tigers a 2-0 advantage.

In the 24th minute, Molly Franklin scored her third goal of the season with assists by Schendel and Zufia.

Fraser Gerth scored on a take away and recorded her first goal of the season in the 39th minute, giving the Lady Tigers a 4-0 lead before the half.

"We did a good job of taking care of business today," said Clemson Head Coach Todd Bramble. "After a hard ACC match against North Carolina, I was concerned about us possibly having a drop off in our performance. But our players' attitudes were great and we played with a lot of energy. Meghan Smith played great and Lia Schendel did a great job. This was Lia's first career start and she had a solid performance for us today."
