Clemson, SC - The Clemson rowing team will begin its spring season this Wednesday morning with a 9:00 AM matchup against Michigan State. The first race of the morning will include the Varsity 8+ and Second Varsity 8+ boats from each school. The Varsity 4+ and Second Varsity 4+ race will follow, and the Novice boats will close out the competition. Each boat will race a total of three times, with each race being 1,500 meters in length.

This is just the second time Michigan State has traveled to Clemson to face the Tigers in a dual-regatta. Last season, Clemson fared well against the Spartans with the Varsity 8+ finishing first in a four-team regatta in Belleville, MI that included Michigan State, Michigan, and Notre Dame.

Clemson is coming off a successful fall season in which they posted the highest finish in school history at the Head of the Charles Regatta. The Tigers look to build upon this success during the spring season with the help of 25 returning letterwinners, including United States National Team member Suzanne Van Fleet.
