2007-08: Spent a majority of the season with the second varsity 4+...rowed with the varsity 4+ in the Clemson Challenge and against Cornell...was the three seat in the second varsity 4+ for the ACC Championships and the Aramark South/Central Sprints where they finished second in the petite finals.
2006-07: Spent most of the spring with the novice 8+ crew...rowed as the five seat at regionals, helping the crew to a petite final win...rowed in the seven seat for the Clemson Challenge, George Washington Invitaiotnal, and ACC Championships...helped boat to runner-up finish at ACCs...rowed with third varsity 8+ in win over Eastern Michigan to start the season.
Mathews High School Highlights: Named academic all-district for basketball, crew, and track...helped lead team to a third place finish in the state in 2005, and a first place finish in 2006...earned two letters in crew and basketball, and one in track.
Personal: Born 12/29/87...father played football at East Carolina.
