Aug. 16, 1999

LAKE LANIER, Ga. - Clemson head rowing coach Susie Lueck and assistant coach Kelly Lynch won silver medals in the Women's Double at the 1999 U.S. Masters' National Championship held last weekend on Lake Lanier in Georgia.

The Tiger coaches recorded a time of 3:48.4 on the 1,000 meter course for the second-place finish, behind the winners from the Lake Lanier Rowing Club. The two coaches led the Clemson rowing team in its inaugural season last year.

Masters races are open to rowers over the age of 27.
