Clemson's Second Varsity 8+ Named ACC Crew of the Week
Award is a first for Clemson Rowing

GREENSBORO, NC - Clemson's Second Varsity 8+ was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week Monday after claiming the Junior Varsity 8+ event at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships Sunday on Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, TN.

The Tigers' second varsity eight won the event in a time of 6:58.7, beating teams from Notre Dame, North Carolina, Tulsa, Purdue and Central Florida.

The ACC crew of the week was comprised of Aimee Fox, Lisa Mischley, Megan Marsick, Sharron Miller, Katie Pitko, Christina Lindsey, Jen Rowe, Katie Hunterand coxswain Gail Cadorniga. Clemson will next be in action vs. Washington State and Michigan State on Saturday on Ovid Lake in Lansing, MI.
