This will be the 5th racing of the annual ACC Rowing Championships
Clemson Rowing to Host ACC ChampionshipsApril 14, 2004
After two weeks of solid training, the Tigers will return to the water on Saturday, April 17 as they host the annual ACC Championships on Lake Hartwell. This will be the second time Clemson has hosted this conference competition.
The Tigers hope to improve on last years third place finish and dethrone reigning champion, Virginia. The regatta will kick off at 9:00 a.m. with the Varsity 4+ event. There will be a total of four races including the Novice 8+, Second Varsity 8+ and Varsity 8+ as well as the Varsity 4+. Following the events on the water will be an awards ceremony.
The Tigers will hit the water next on May 4 as they host Central Florida on Lake Hartwell.
Schedule of Events:
9:00 a.m. - Varsity 4+
9:20 a.m. - Novice 8+
9:40 a.m. - II Varsity 8+
10:00 a.m. - I Varsity 8+
11:00 a.m. - Awards Ceremony
