Farrell Finstad is entering her second year as a full-time assistant rowing coach for the Tiger rowing team. Farrell oversees the try-out process during the fall and helps with both the Varsity and Novice programs throughout the year. She also works very closely with Emily in recruiting. In 2003, Farrell was an undergraduate coach during her fifth year at Clemson.

Farrell made a significant impact as a student-athlete for Clemson. She joined the Tiger Rowing team its inaugural year and rowed in the Tigers' undefeated I Novice 8+. Her sophomore, junior and senior years Farrell was a member of the I Varsity 8+. During her four years as a Tiger student-athlete, Farrell was named to the 2001 ACC Crew of the Year, and numerous weeks as a member of the ACC Crew of the Week. Farrell served her team as a SAAB representative in 2001 and was also a member of the Tiger's I Varsity 8+ to earn a national ranking.

"Farrell's experience, work ethic, creativity and commitment to excellence have made an immediate impact on the Tiger's rowing program," said head coach Susie Lueck. "Farrell is drawn to collegiate coaching because of the opportunity she has to make a significant impact on the young women she works with. She is an outstanding role model for those currently in the program which she helped to build."

Farrell is a 2003 graduate of Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications and a minor in Business Administration.
