CLEMSON, SC - The Clemson women's basketball team will travel to Columbia, SC on Wednesday for a date with in-state rival South Carolina. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. from the Colonial Life Arena.

* The game will be televised on SportSouth with Mike Morgan on the play-by-play and Debbie Antonelli on color commentary.
* The game will be aired by WCCP (104.9) on an Internet-only basis on the station's website, WCCPFM.com

* Clemson will be facing South Carolina for the 53rd time in history on Wednesday night, which ranks in the top 10 for most frequent opponent

* The 2008-09 Clemson women's basketball roster has quite the athletic lineage. Six players have parents and/or siblings that also played a sport at the Division I level
* McKinney and her staff signed North Carolina point guard Keyrra Gillespie on Wednesday. Gillespie will join the Lady Tiger program for the 2009-10 season.

* Clemson leads the all-time series score, 31-22
* However, South Carolina has won the last three meetings, including a 64-43 decision at Littlejohn Coliseum last season
