Women's Basketball Travels To Florida State For Final Road Game

Feb. 21, 2007 CLEMSON, SC - The Clemosn women's basketball team will face its final road test of the 2006-07 season, as the Lady Tigers will travel to Tallahassee for a Thursday night contest against Florida State. The Lady Tigers (12-15, 4-8 ACC) and Seminoles (19-8, 8-4 ACC) are slated for a 7:00 pm tip-off from the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. Fans in the upstate can follow the action on the airwaves via WCCP (104.9 FM) with Dan Scott calling the play-by-play and Kanetra Queen serving as color commentator. The game will also be available on the Internet by accessing livestats on www.clemsontigers.com. Lele Hardy, the reigning ACC Rookie of the Week, is just one steal away from tying the Clemson single season record for a freshman. She has totaled 86 so far this season, while Ramona O'Neal holds the record with 87 steals during the 1979-80 season. Hardy is also the team's leading rebounder with a 7.0 average and ranks third on the team in scoring, averaging 11.3 points per game. D'Lesha Lloyd owns a team-best 14.0 scoring average, while Tasha Taylor leads the Lady Tigers with 12.8 points per conference game. Clemson vs. Florida State, The Series Scouting the Seminoles Alicia Gladden leads the Seminoles with a 14.4 overall scoring average and has scored 15.9 points per ACC game this year. She is also averaging 5.9 rebounds per game while boasting a team-best 58 steals. Britany Miller is also averaging in double figures with a 12.2 per game mark and is tied for the team lead in rebounds with Jacinta Moore, as both players average 6.1 per game. Overall, Florida State posts 68.3 points per game with a 42.7 field goal percentage and a 42.2 rebounding average. The Seminoles allow their opponents just 61.0 points and 34.4 rebounds per game.
