GREENVILLE, S.C.--Natasha Anderson scored 13 points, while teammate Amy Geren added 12 in leading Clemson to a 83-70 win over Furman in a women's intercollegiate basketball game at Greenville, SC Thursday night.
With the win, Clemson improves its record to 4-2 overall, while Furman falls to 0-5 this season. Clemson shot a cold .306 from the field (11-36) in the first half, but improved to .514 (19-37) in the second half.
Anderson was 5-11 from the field and had four assists, three blocked shots and three steals in the Lady Tiger vicotory.
Clemson outrebounded the Lady Paladins 52-33. The Lady Tigers also had 34 offensive rebounds which set a new school record for most offensive rebounds in a single game.
Clemson will play host to Duke on December 13, in the Lady Tigers next action. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m. in this Atlantic Coast Conference contest.
