Megan Honeycutt is in her second year with the Lady Tiger basketball program. She will serve as the team's graduate assistant for the 2006-07 season.
Her primary duties will include exchanging game tapes with opponents and overseeing the student managers. Honeycutt will also assist with individual player workouts and help with correspondence with recruits, along with video editing and inter-office administrative duties.
A native of Salisbury, NC, Honeycutt played basketball for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2000-04. She played in 87 games over her career with six starts. As a senior, Honeycutt averaged 14.3 minutes for the Spartans. She set a career high with 14 points in the second to last game of her senior year against the Wofford Terriors in Spartanburg, SC.
Honeycutt earned her undergraduate degree in 2004 in broadcasting and cinema with a minor in English. Before coming to Clemson, Honeycutt worked for a financial group in Greensboro, NC. She is currently studying to earn a master's degree in Human Resource Development.
