Terre Haute, IN - Red-shirt senior Matt Clark concluded his cross country career Monday at the NCAA Championships. The Hyannis, MA native had a time of 31:49.7 on the 10,000m course and finished 185th out of 250 competitors.

Clark was a three-time All-Region and two-time All-ACC performer in cross country for the Tiger program. He was ninth at the Southeast Regionals two weeks ago in Louisville, KY.

The Tiger program posted a fourth-place finish during the 2007 season at the ACC Championships under Clark's leadership, as well as a sixth-place showing at the regional meet.

With cross country completed, Clark and his teammates will begin the indoor track & field season on Friday, November 30 at the Clemson Opener. The meet will be held Friday and Saturday (Dec. 1) at the Tigers' indoor facility.
