CLEMSON, S.C. - The Clemson men's track and field team will conclude its regular season meet schedule at the Georgia Tech Invitational this weekend in Atlanta. The Tigers will begin competition on Friday at 7:00 PM and conclude the weekend's meet on Saturday at 7:20 PM. Twenty-five members of the Clemson team will compete this weekend, including 19 Tigers who have already qualified for the NCAA East Region Championships.

On Friday, Derrick Wyatt and Matt Clark will represent the Tigers in the 1500m run, followed by Ryan Fenton, a regional qualifier, in the 3000m steeplechase. George Kitchens and Terrance McDaniel will compete in the long jump, and Derek Gilson and Matt Lombardi are scheduled to contest the shot put.

At 9:00 AM on Saturday, Danny Alge will represent Clemson in the hammer throw, then Adam Klotzbach and Ryan Hunter are scheduled to compete in the pole vault at 3:00 PM. Also at 3:00 PM, Derek Gilson, Matt Lombardi and Danny Alge will compete in the discus throw, and Roy Cheney and Lydell Perry will take to the track for the 110m hurdles trials. At 4:10 PM, four members of the Tiger squad will compete in the 100m trials, as Larry Griffin, Ronald Richards, Robert Ibeh and George Kitchens look to improve on their season-best times. Adam Linkenauger and Terrance McDaniel will represent Clemson in the high jump at 4:30 PM, and the Tigers' 4x100m relay team of Larry Griffin, Tye Hill, Ronald Richards and Airese Currie will compete at 4:40 PM. Jason Bell will represent Clemson in the triple jump at 5:00 PM. The Tigers' action returns to the track at 5:40 PM for the finals of the 110m hurdles. At 5:50 PM, Michael Bolling, Marquis Andrews and Scott Kautz will contest the 400m dash, and the men's 100m dash final will begin at approximately 6:40 PM. Rashad Gardner will compete in the 400m hurdles at 6:45 PM, then six Tigers will conclude competition for Clemson in the 200m. Airese Currie, Tye Hill, Robert Ibeh, Lydell Perry, Warren Eure and Darius Acker are all slated to compete in the final Tiger event of the day.
