CLEMSON, SC - Clemson's Ronald Richards was tabbed as one of the men's ACC Outdoor Track and Field Performers of the Week as announced by the conference office. The senior from Alexandria, VA, earns this week's honors after posting three regional qualifying marks at the Clemson Invitational on Saturday. Richards tied his personal-best time in the 100m, winning the event with a time of 10.24. That time ranks second in the conference and fourth nationally. In the 200m dash, Richards posted another career-best, clocking a regional qualifying time of 20.64 to claim that event. His time in the 200m is the fastest recorded in the nation this season. Richards also ran the second leg of the 4x100m relay that finished in a time of 40.37, meeting NCAA regional qualifying standards.

Richards and the Tiger track and field team return to action in their final tune-up for the ACC Championships, as they compete in the Solid Orange Classic in Clemson on Saturday, Apr. 16.
