The Clemson men's track and field team will compete at the Yellow Jacket Invitational on Saturday, Apr. 2 at the George C. Griffin Track on the campus of Georgia Tech. The meet is slated to get underway at 8:00 AM with the hammer throw. The first running event will begin at 1:00 PM with the 3000m steeplechase.

This is the second meet of the outdoor season for the Tigers. Last weekend, Clemson hosted the Clemson Relays, and the Tigers opened their outdoor season with two regional qualifiers and six event titles. Rashad Gardner and Ronald Richards won the 110m hurdles and 100m dash, respectively, with NCAA East Region Championship qualifying marks. Gardner, a junior from Chesapeake, VA, claimed the high hurdles with a qualifying time of 14.31. Richards' time of 10.33 in the 100m dash was a regional qualifying mark for the senior from Alexandria, VA.
