CLEMSON, SC - The Clemson men's track and field team will compete at the Raleigh Relays this weekend at NC State's Paul Derr Track. The Tigers will begin competition on Friday with the discus at 10:00 AM. The meet is slated to conclude on Saturday with the 4x400m relay at 4:40 PM.

On Friday, Derek Gilson, Matt Lombardi and Danny Alge will open competition for Clemson with the discus throw at 10:00 AM. At 11:10 AM, the track events will begin for the Tigers as Eric Soder takes to the track in the 5000m run. At 12:00 PM, Adam Klotzbach will represent Clemson in the pole vault, while Lydell Perry, Roy Cheney and Rashad Gardner compete in the trials of the 110m hurdles. The 100m dash trials are set for 1:00 PM, an event that will feature Clemson's Larry Griffin, Tye Hill and Airese Currie. Derek Gilson and Matt Lombardi will compete in the shot put at 2:00 PM, while Ben Daniels represents the Tigers in the high jump at the same time. Brit Barrow and Terrance McDaniel will compete in the long jump at 2:00 PM, and Darius Acker, Marquis Andrews and Warren Eure will contest the 400m dash also at 2:00 PM. Michael Bolling, Scott Kautz and Rashad Gardner will compete in the 400m hurdles at 3:20 PM. Ronald Richards, Airese Currie, Marquis Andrews and Ahmad Rutherford comprise the Tiger sprint medley relay team that will compete at 5:00 PM. At 6:30 PM, Derrick Wyatt will compete in the 5000m, and Matt Pimentel will wrap up the first day of competition for the Tigers in the 10,000m run at 8:30 PM.

The Tigers resume competition on Saturday at 10:00 AM with three field events. Clayton Curtis will compete in the javelin, while Danny Alge, Matt Lombardi and Derek Gilson contest the hammer throw, and Brit Barrow and Jason Bell represent Clemson in the triple jump. At 10:45 AM, Sean Reilly and David Smith take to the track to compete in the 3000m steeplechase, followed by the finals of the 110m hurdles and 100m dash at 12:00 PM and 12:10 PM, respectively. Matt Clark and Clay Pendleton will compete in the 1500m run at 12:25 PM. Larry Griffin, Tye Hill, Ronald Richards and Airese Currie will contest the 4x100m relay at 1:15 PM, and the same team will compete in the 4x200m race at 2:05 PM. At 3:25 PM, Ryan Fenton will compete in the 3000m steeplechase, and two Tiger relay teams will conclude competition for the Tigers. At 4:35 PM, Marquis Andrews, Rashad Gardner, Lydell Perry and Ahmad Rutherford will compete in the 4x400m relay, and the Tigers' other 4x400m relay team of Michael Bolling, Darius Acker, Roy Cheney and Warren Eure will represent Clemson at 4:40 PM.
