Sacramento, CA - Travis Padgett continued his busy week at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Thursday by competing in the prelims for the 200m dash. He ran a time of 21.41 but did not advance to the semifinals. The sophomore will compete in Friday's 100m and 4x100m relay final for Clemson, however.
The 4x100m relay final is scheduled for 4:30 PM (PT), while the 100m dash will take place at 6:15 PM. Fans can catch Padgett in action on CSTV, which will televise the national meet from 8:30 PM (ET) until 11:30 Friday evening. CBS will also televise portions of the championship on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM (ET) to 3:00. Padgett will be joined in the 400m relay by Corey Brown, Cowin Mills, and C.J. Spiller.
Matt Clark and Mitch Greeley will also compete in finals Friday. Clark will be one of 16 competitors in the 5000m run at 7:45 (PT), while Greeley will take part in the pole vault at 6:15.
