Final Stats

The Clemson Men's Track and Field Team won the Clemson Invitational Saturday at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Facility. The Tigers scored 153.50 points.

Jason Bell recorded an NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark of 50'10.25" in the triple jump.

In the 60m dash, Tye Hill finished third with a time of 6.80, Ron Richards was sixth with a time of 6.97, and George Kitchens finished seventh at 6.98. Ron Richards placed third in the 200m dash with a time of 21.94, and Robert Ibeh was fourth with a time of 22.07. In the 800m, Cowin Mills finished eighth with a time of 2:00.62. In the Mile Run, Brian Soder placed sixth with a time of 4:28.80. In the 3000m run, Ryan Fenton finished fourth with a time of 8:33.76, Clay Pendleton was fifth with a time of 8:34.54, and Sean Reilly was eighth with a time of 8:51.92. Roy Cheney finished second in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.97, Brent Hobbs was sixth with a time of 8.18, Scott Kautz finished seventh at 8.41, and Ryan Koontz was eighth with a time of 8.87. In the 4X400m relay the Clemson "A" team of Darius Acker, Ryan Koontz, Roy Cheney, and Warren Eure finished third with a time of 3:15.71, the Clemson "B" team of Robert Ibeh, Cowin Mills, Corey Brown, and Rashad Gardner finished fifth with a time of 3:20.30. Jason Bell won the triple jump event with a leap of 50'10.25", and Mickey Sheats finished seventh with a jump of 46'9.5". Arthur Hinton finished second in the high jump with a mark of 6'8", Adam Linkenauger was fourth with a jump of 6'4", and Ryan Koontz was fifth. Mitch Greeley won the pole vault with a mark of 16'7". In the shot put, Derek Gilson finished third with a throw of 57'11.75".

In the 400m dash, Warren Eure finished 11th with a time of 49.44, Scott Kautz was 12th at 49.50, Darius Acker finished 14th with a time of 50.13, and Rashad Gardner was 16th with a time of 50.29. Eric Soder finished 10th in the 3000m with a time of 8:57.80. Brent Hobbs recorded a throw of 42'8.75" in the shot put to finish 14th, and Kyle Shaw finished 15th at 38'0.25".
