2005-06
Outdoor: Earned All-America honors in the decathlon with a seventh-place finish (7,284 points)...second decathlete from Clemson ever to earn All-America honors...set personal bests in the 100m (11.45), discus (120'7"), and javelin (173'1") at the national meet...captured the ACC Championship in the decathlon, his second All-ACC honor in that event in as many years...posted an NCAA qualifying mark of 7,371 points at ACCs...that total ranks fourth in school history in the decathlon...posted strong time in the 400m in the decathlon at 49.88...also ran strong in the 1500m (4:46.93)...ran a 14.65 in the high hurdles...cleared 6'9.5" to win the high jump portion of the decathlon at ACCs. Indoor: Competed at the NCAA Championships in the heptathlon...finished with 5,249 points...best event was the 1000m run where he posted a career-best time of 2:47.32...won the heptathlon at the ACC Championships in Blacksburg, VA...did so with a career-best 5,515 points in the event, which elevated him to second all-time in Clemson history in the heptathlon...among his highlights at the conference meet were a long jump of 23'0", shot put of 43'9", and pole vault of 14'9"...withdrew from competition at Clemson's Heptathlon on February 28 due to injury...recorded the second-best 60m hurdles time of the season with a career-best 7.95 at the Clemson Invitational...cleared 6'9.5" in the high jump at the Clemson Opener...cleared 15'3" in the pole vault at the Virginia Tech Invitational.
2004-2005:
Outdoor: Finished third in the decathlon at the ACC Championships to earn All-ACC honors...recorded a provisional qualifying total of 7,012 points...opened meet with a time of 11.56 in the 100m dash, then posted a mark of 21'11.75" in the long jump....also on day one of the ACC Championships, turned in a mark of 38'6.25" in the shot put, cleared 6'6" in the high jump and crossed the finish line in 50.62 in the 400m dash...started day two with a time of 14.88 in the high hurdles, then threw 116'1" in the discus...cleared a career-best 14'3.25" in the pole vault in the conference decathlon, and registered a mark of 149'8" in the javelin throw...capped the conference meet with a time of 4:38.29 in the 1500m run to win the event...scored 6,725 points at the Orange & Purple Multis...cleared 6'9" in the high jump at the Orange & Purple Multis...also cleared a season-best of 14'7.25" in the decathlon in Clemson...tied his season-best of 14.85 in the 110m hurdles at the Orange & Purple Multis. Indoor: Amassed 4,821 points in the heptathlon at the ACC Championships...finished in a tie for sixth with teammate Kyle Shaw to score for the Tigers...posted a time of 7.31 in the 60m dash, then had a mark of 20'10.75" in the long jump...recorded a throw of 36'1.5" in the shot put and cleraed 6'4" in the high jump to wrap up day one of competition at the conference meet...ran an 8.52 in the 60m hurdles and cleraed 12'1.5" in the pole vault on day two of the ACC heptathlon...concluded the meet with a time of 2:50.70 in the 1000m run.
2003-2004:
Outdoor: Red-shirted. Indoor: Scored for the Tigers with a sixth-place finish in the heptathlon at the ACC Championships...tallied a provisional qualifying total of 5,107 points at the conference meet...ran a season-best time of 7.28 in the 60m and 8.34 in the 60m hurdles at the ACC Championships...owns a season-best mark of 6'9" in the high jump set in the open event at the conference meet...posted a season-best mark of 21'4.75" in the long jump at the Clemson Opener...had a season-best performance in the shot put with a mark of 41'11.5" set at the Clemson Heptathlon Championships.
Independence Community College (KS) Highlights:
2003 NJCAA National Champion in the decathlon with 6,497 points...NJCAA record holder in the decathlon high jump with a clearance of 7'1.75"...also competed in basketball...has a personal-best of 6,497 points in the decathlon, 7'1.75" in the high jump, 23'8" in the long jump and 14.20 in the 110m hurdles.
Washburn Rural High School Highlights: 2002 Kansas state champion in the Class 6-A 110m hurdles with a time of 14.34...2001 Kansas state champion in the 6-A 110m hurdles with a time of 14.86.
